Friday Finds

Christmas in Atlanta equals Shopping, Eating, and Sight-seeing. So wonderful to spend time with Family and Friends.

The Day After Christmas my family had an awesome Dinner at the Brooklyn Cafe in Sandy Springs. I had  to have one of my favorite soups - Lobster Bisque. They served the Sherry in a shot glass so you can add it to the bisque yourself! It's not Lobster Bisque without Sherry!

My other Favorite  - Caesar Salad with Shrimp! The shrimp was cooked perfectly! Great dinner after lots of food on Christmas Day!

Next we went downtown to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens special Holiday Event - Garden Lights. It was packed and cold but oh so a beautiful.

Dale Chihuly is an Incredible Glass Artist and this piece in the Fountain is from a Show he had here years ago. Please go see any Chihuly exhibits if you can. If you have been to the Bellagio in Vegas, you have seen his work.

Friday was all about taking my Mom to Nordstrom. She wanted to eat at their Famous Cafe. I had a Turkey Club Panini! Perfect!

Also sneaked some pictures for yesterday's Post! And found a pair my favorite jeans on clearance!

Friday Night I got together with several friends from Elementary and High School! We had a
fabulous time at Double Zero in Sandy Springs. I had the Small Plate special - Tenderloin in an amazing Demi-glaze with Celery Root and wilted Dandelion greens. Yes I ate it, all of it. It was
Fantastic!!!

My Friends all had the Maiale Pizza.
Braised Nueske’s bacon, seasonal mushrooms, goat cheese, arugula, garlic,
fig-onion agrodolce, olive oil, vanilla salt.
I tried a piece - ahhhhmazing! They give you Kitchen Scissors to cut your pizza!

For Dessert, we shared 5 Layer Chocolate Cake and Cannolis!

If you love to Organize or just like to Imagine organizing your home - then Run don't Walk to the nearest Container Store! I wandered aimlessly imagining all my spaces looking perfect! One small space at a time!

I spent Many years in Minnesota and Wisconsin and when we moved to Birmingham, I was sad I could no longer get Bruegger's Bagels! Well I found one in Atlanta! We stopped on our way home and bought 2 dozen plus had lunch!

Oh my!! Max had the Sriracha Egg Sandwich!! It looked and smelled divine!

Lucas had Sausage, Egg and Cheese on a Cheddar Bagel!

And I had the Herby Turkey!
Now we need Bruegger's to come to Birmingham!

Trips are always so fun but going home is nice too!!
