The word of the day is cytokinesis!!!!! No, I don't know what it is either. Second son is in Honors Biology and I am learning as much as he is - sort of. I frequently find myself helping him study for his tests and quizzes and he spends half the time laughing at me mispronounce all these words. I'm amazed that he understands, retains, and loves all this info. He says, science makes sense to him! Biology makes my head hurt. Really looking forward to helping him study for Honors Chemistry next year!
Every morning as I drive him to school, we listen to another edition of Vsauce on YouTube. I love our 15 minutes in the car in the morning! If you have ever wondered why we clap or how much the internet weighs, I highly recommend watching these videos. Your Kids will Love them!!!
